There is nothing in this world like an autumn wedding. First, if you've never lived in Georgia, it is summer for five months out of the year. It's hot. It's humid. It's HORRIBLE. In October, the heat finally fades and the cooler weather begins to arrive. Second, the leaves are changing colors, giving way to beautiful scenery - especially in the north Georgia mountains. Third, it is the best feeling in the world. I can't speak for everyone, but for me, autumn signifies the beginning of the holiday season. Spirits are high, stress is low, and it makes for a wonderful wedding.

Jenny and Andrew's wedding was at Bass Lake Farms, a gorgeous rustic venue on a private lake, surrounded by some of the most colorful trees I've seen. If you're looking for an outdoor venue, I absolutely recommend. There is plenty of room for EVERY aspect of the reception to be held outside, but room inside the barn if it rains (it did). There are two suites - one for the bride, and one for the groom, both very roomy and comfortable.
