Jeannie and Todd met in 2016 and fell in love pretty much immediately. In May, 2021, Todd surprised Jeannie by proposing under the guise of an anniversary gift. The couple's actual anniversary was a week later, but Todd was too excited to wait any longer.

Their wedding and reception were located at Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center in Buford.
