Hannah and Graham met in their first college class - Technical Production. They hung out together only because they were in the same friend group. Hannah thought she hated him for the longest time, but in actuality, they were both too shy to say they liked each other.

On Thanksgiving Day, 2021, Graham took Hannah canoeing on the lake behind his house. He tied a bobber to her engagement ring (in case of tipping over) and hid it in the storage container. It was a complete surprise to Hannah when he proposed.
